ok i'm looking at the yank converters . the car has longtubes and a ory it's a 02 SS 3.42 gears and i will be getting a 224/224 cam it will see very little drag strip use it's going to be my dd. What stall do you think?And is the Super Stock series too much or should i go with the thruster? any other ideas? I'll be getting a cooler. What about a shift kit?

I have the ss3600 and love it i drive my car atleast 3 or 4 days out of the week and have no problems.

N/A only, PT series..... N20 in the future, SS series.

I have that cam with a ss4000. Its my daily car and I see the track maybe once a year. Youll see 2200-2500rpm in the city and once it locks it will be just like stock. I think it very streetable, and I have 3.23 gears. And when you apply pressure to the gas pedal...hold on!!

Just make sure you get a good trans cooler. I have one with a fan so I have constant air flow for stop and go traffic.

4000 seems a little high as 95% of my driving will be on the street.Even with a cooler that much stall has to shorten trans life by a good bit?Or am i wrong?And will a shift kit make much of a diff. How much harder and firmer can a tune make the shifts?
