the last c-clip, is it suppose to touch the spring clip?
the last c-clip, is it suppose to touch the spring clip? in the technical video im watching, the guy says its not suppose to go over the spring clip... but then he has it showing one side of the c-clip over a part of the spring clip
here are 2 pictures of what i have, the c-clip is not touching the spring clip at all, is this right? or do i need to move the c-clip a little bit over the straightened side of the spring clip

ussually i place it over the flat side on the right bottom of picture.

It should not hurt anything as it is.
I prefer to see the snap ring in question and any snap ring for that matter to be fully seated against the case or hub it sits in. The lugs or snap ring can be compromised if it is not fully seated.
With this snap ring it can be a pain to get it centered up, might take a try or two, but that's how I prefer them... equal spacing on either side.
