Hey I'm interested in buying a Yank SY3500. I am leaning more towards this converter now. What do you guys think of this converter? Anyone with a procharger with 8# of boost running this converter? How is it streetability wise? How did it affect your gas mileage? How much did you pay for it, and from where? If driving aroudn town, can you notice any looseness? Anything else I should know about this converter? Thanks guys. I'm going to be buying a converter soon, so help me decide.
PS: What do you guys think of TCI's converters? I hear they're reliable, and a LOT cheaper. Thanks again.

It feels stock with 3.73 gears. It does not hit that hard off the line so that should help if you have traction issues. I think it will be perfect for forced induction.
I have a 427 motor I'll stay NA. I'll be upgrading to YPT4000 this summer

Mike,
I think you would like the performance of the Yank. However, there are a couple of benefits to running one of our converters. I feel strongly that ours is the most durable LS1 converter available and I know that our customer support is second to none.
I'll call you later today so we can dicuss this more.
Take Care,
Kevin
