Default 5.3 to TH 400

Well I just blew my 4l60 that only had 6k freakin miles on it. The pump exploded into a million pieces and took a chunk out of the case and ruined it. I have a very nice TH400 that I will have to use until I can afford a new 4l60 or an 80 conversion.

My question is where are all of you guys getting the adapter flex plates and crank adapters and how much are you paying for them? All the ones I have found so far seem really high so I hope someone has a good source for me thanks.

Try and find them in the parts for sale section.

the hughes adapter is only like $44 from summit or jegs, i have used them before and they work fine, or you can get the flexplate, spacer, and bolts from a 6.0L and thats all you need for your 400 to bolt up

I got my flexplate on ebay and the Hughes spacer from Summit. I think the spacer was only around $35.
