happen the other day I was able to drive home but I had no 1st & 4th gear plus it would not lock the tc.. looks like it went into a limp mode
I put it on my scanner and it threw a code

Err84: 3-2 Downshift Feedback Fault

and my tc press was @ 90 all the time plus other wierd things
I rebuilt the tranny about 6000 miles ago.

I replace my ignition switch a few months ago so I don't think its that
but what you guys think?

could it be my solenoids?
would that threw into a limp mode

9 times out of 10 it is the 3-2 downshift solenoid sticking.

 

Yes it sounds like you have a bad 3-2 solenoid . I would change it an then see what happens

well I pulled the pan off and the clip that attachies to the 3-2 solenoild was broken off
i'll pick one up tomarrow but looks like that was the problem.
That was the problem it runs great now :-)
