wILL A TORQUE CONVERTER HELP THIS?
When i punch it at about 15 it feels doggy! i just want sumin to help out my low end torque! Would a yank 3000 or 3200 help out alot? And are there any benefits of havin a stall when u punch it in higher gears? thanks
The higher stall convertor will get the vehicle up into the powerband more quickly. I'm not sure you want a 3200 stall if the motor is nearly stock. But, yes it will help.
At higher speeds, it will keep the engine in the powerband while pulling the higher gears and usually result in quicker acceleration. Like anything else, you can over do it and go too far with stall speed. I'd contact the convertor manufacturers and verify their recommendations for your vehicle. But, you are on the right track. Good luck!

An efficent high stall will definitely help from roll. 3000 - 3200 will be plenty on a truck. They have a special truck series; check them out if you plan to tow anything.
