Convertor Locup trouble, please help!!!
Just installed the TCI 4400 and I have edit set to lock it up at 30 in 3rd and 35 in 4th onthe thresh hold settings. I also went in and changed the TPS% table to the same. Here is the problem, it will lock in 3rd sometimes and unlock and then lock again in forth at 35. The main problem is it will lock up at 70 if you hold it at 70 for about 5 min or so then it will unlock a little ways down the road. I have tried going back to the stock program and it does the same. I have a manual lockup switch and it locks the converter but that is the only way to get it to stay locked at high speeds.
Mine started doing that every once in a while, after a fluid change it went away.. I`m thinking th efluid had gotten thin.

The lock-up through the shift feature in Edit did not work on my car. That probably explains the 3rd at 30 4th at 35 issue.
The highway issue sounds like misfire detection needs to be adjusted. Common problem - search in the computer forum and you'll plenty of posts.

Turning off the misfire code itself will not cure the problem. You have to change the temperature settings of the misfire detection or turn misfire detection off completely.
