Default Good placement for tranny cooler(s)?

Well i got my TT Trans Am on the road and just received my PY3400 stall. Car already has a tranny temp guage and B&M 24k cooler. I dont think my cooler is in a very efficient spot and want to relocate it. I was thinking about in the little hole in the TA bumper under the running light of either side. What other spots have you guys noticed to be good? Would it be benificial to add another of the same coolers and run 2 since i'm by-passing the radiator? Thanks!

What I have done is removed all the cooling baffles; the washer bottle; trimmed the bumper bar and absorber; and hung the two coolers off the top of the bumper bar itself to where they are actually facing the condensor and radiator. I have also tilted them at an angle so they can get some of the air the lower air deflector forces into the face of the condensor.

I seemed to get cooler reading with this method as opposed to the dope-style since they are getting more direct air flow and there are no obstructions around them. A side benefit is I noticed my coolant temps' dropped as a result of the condensor and radiator and baffles not obstructing and restricting air flow. I thought there may have been a possibility of high-speed cooling problems because the baffles were not there to direct air into the radiator, but this has not been the case. As soon as I get on the freeway, or up to freeway speed, my coolant temps' drop.

As I see it, this has been the best way for my car to get both tranny cooling and engine cooling. I think it helps clean-up the engine compartment a little bit too.

Good luck.
