Default 4l60e trans lines

ok guys, i need to run the lines for my trans cooler, but i dont know which one goes where. 1996 4l60e- one line has a box with a connector for what im assuming is trans temp sensor on it, the other is just a line with no connectors. which one installs where? which is the output (trans fluid flows out to trans cooler) and which one is the return (trans fluid flows back in from cooler)? thanks guys

Bottom line on the trans is pressure out of the trans to cooler and the top is the return to the trans from the cooler. Hope this helps. Vince

I myself like to see the sender in the return line. This is an on going discussion that will be debated with many different views. If these are factory lines you might want to contact the dealer to see which one is which. I would also look to see how they line up and make my decision from there. Vince
