Default WOT 1-2 shift

I can make 2 or 3 run's (1/4 mile) The trans will shift fine into 2nd,When I get to about the 4th run it hits the rev limiter. They are not back to back run's,The trans fluid is about 140* to 150* each run. What would cause this,What should I check. All the parts are pretty new,Few months old...................Paul

I assume this is a 4L60e? If so isn't that what happens when the 1-2 band goes bad?

I would check the servo and servo bore along with the hole the pin slides into you may have wear there, I would also look over the servo seals. What servo are you using ?

Yes its a 4L60E.Its a superior/fairbanks servo.I'm going to change the separater plate too because the ***** were starting to wear through when I checked it over the winter.I just cleaned the holes up alittle,But I figure I'll change it now. Also would putting my stiffer springs back in the 1-2 accumulater help?........Thanks..............Paul
