FWIW- I have tested the HD TCC at WOT and it held solid. We did gain a few mph, but our car is NA so we didn't see any significant ET improvement.

I have put several of the Circle D converters to the test and I can honestly say they rock!

That sounds like a good idea, first 5 get the introductory price, $700, and the first 2 get free shipping. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Thanks, I think the 1.29 60 speaks for itself.

Here is a little more info for why we are the best converter for your car:

Our converter fronts start from a 110lbs piece of carbon alloy billet steel. We use our CNC equipment to get it down to 9lbs. We don't use a bolt on ring adapter with a stock front off of a FWD car. In my opinon that is just not strong enough for the LS1's. It is extremely lightweight, the billet front is stronger than a lathe turned front. It takes a lot of extra mill time to make the reinforcement spokes, but it allows the front cover to be stronger and lighter. What is it worth to loose 3+lbs of rotating mass and still maintain strength? We use 3 bearings in our converters, not just 2. The extra bearing maintains clutch clearance, even with extreme trans brake applications. Circle D brings a lot to the table and is helping make the LS1 faster.

I hope the converter turbine blades are Furnace brazed and not Furnish brazed, and hope they're built better than you spell

yeah you have to get in here and talk about other things as well and not just try to sell stuff. you have to establish a relationship with members on here. word of mouth on here is very powerfull. this site will either work for you or not. its what you make of it. one sponsor that has made a big impression on me in the a4 section is frank from performabuilt. hes always around to help and not just sell stuff. its going to be hard because i say
90% of the a4 guys on here run yank or vig. so good luck and hopefully one day there are a couple of good results of this converter and you mite sway me to buy one.

While all the errors are a little embarrassing, I still appreciate letting me know about them. I need to work on my proof reading.

Like you said, I have big shoes to fill. I am still working on my "Converter 101" section on my website. I am hoping that it will educate you even further to understand the differences in different converters. Every converter has its advantages and disadvantages, and I hope my info will help anybody trying to buy a converter from anyone, even if it is not mine.

Thank you. I'll call you tomorrow. Also, what about a softer hitting than normal transbrake for the TH350? I really want a transbrake for the new Firebird (old school SBC) but don't want to try to rip the rear end out of the car every time I launch. Just a heads up. I'll be in touch.

Look forward to talking with you, and yes, we can soften up the launch.

The converter pics on my website are a single disk clutch. I do use a billet piston for extra strength, but for WOT lock up on any thing over ~400rwhp, I would suggest a multi disk converter. I make a 3 and a 5 disk clutch setup for any HP level. We have done some testing and on NA cars, even aproaching 650+hp, WOT lock up did not help any. It brings the RPM down to much and out of the power band. But if you have a big power adder, ie a turbo, it will help.

Welcome aboard, Circle-D, to the elite circle of LS1TECH sponsors. Don't take these guys giving you a hard time in here too seriously. Think of it as hazing the new guy

Like it has already been said, you have big shoes to fill, and it's sad to say that members on this forum have been screwed by others in the past, but that is no reason to not give you a chance. I welcome your sponsorship with opens arms and I for one will be anxiously awaiting the first few reviews of your product.

I'm running a Circle D converter in my Century built 200r4 in my TA.
The car makes some alright power, but I love the converter to death.
Great introductory price and thanks for joining the forum!!!

Thanks for all the kind words, I will keep up the hard work.

I have really fine tuned my design, and will be running 8 fronts and pistons next week. They will be ready to ship by the following week. Sales are doing good and I have decided to extend the free shipping offer and keep the price @ $700. I use the industry standard 245mm core and offer a hand built converter, custom for your car. They are not an off the shelf or big production line converter.
