What stall to run?

What stall to run? Since I can't sell my TA I wil start working on it. What stall to run on a stock 2002 LS-1 TA with mods in the near future going to be put on? The only reason I don't like the car is that it sucks from a dead stop or on a roll. And will it make the car a whole different vehicle, you know like more fun to drive?

Re: What stall to run? Depends on how far you plan on going with the mods/upgrades. What tires do you want to run? Are you going to be NA or on the bottle? Is it mainly street or strip? There are a lot of variables to consider prior to choosing a converter.
Personally I love my SY3500. I only run on Nitto DR's so the soft hitting launch of the SY3500 is perfect. It drives very well on the street and shave .5 tenths off my 1/4 times. It was by far the best mod I've done. Do a search on converters - the options are endless.

Re: What stall to run? It depends on a lot of factors but I wouldn't recommend under a 3500.
I've got a Yank SS3600 and would highly recommend it.
I had a Super Thruster 3000 and the performance increase is noticable,
yet the drivability is about the same. STR went from 2.2 to 2.5 and shift
extension went from 4200 to 4700. Car has 3.23s.
I'll gaurentee it won't suck from a roll or a stop with this one.
