problems with T/C hey guys, i just got a fuddle 3600 stall with 2.2 str... i got it all installed and ordered my b&m SuperCooler which should be getting here in a couple days. i was on my way home last night on the freeway with the converter locked in for an hour and got off on an exit and went to speed back up and my car locked itself into 3rd gear. so i stoped and put it into park and checked my fluid and all was ok. reverse worked and everything but when i put it into drive it was stuck in third... so i decided i was close to home so i went for it ad made it. the next morning i tested it out and all was normal.. did it get hot going down the freeway at 70? whats the deal?
You need to have it scanned but your likley setting a code PO757 for the shift solenoid B because of the converter. There is nothing wrong but you will need to have the test for this code removed from your TCM or this will happen periodically .
