Default A4 to M6 swap question

ok so im running with an A4 right now with 36,000 miles on it. Over the next year I will be putting in CNC ported LS6 heads, a New cam, Headers, and anything else needed to get somewhere north of 450 HP. I was wondering if I would be better off swapping to an M6 than getting a stall for the A4.

It's not a daily driver and I really don't want to lose my low idle

You can properly build the A4 to withstand huge amounts of power. I would leave it in.

if you wana go faster on the 1/4 build the a4 and get a decent stall. if it will be more for street racing get the m6.

Leave the A4 in it by all means! It is a proven fact that automatics are faster at the track.

That unit can be built to easily withstand the power levels your are talking about.
