quick tranny question Had my tranny rebuilt back in late march by a reputable tranny shop i had the 3400 stall taken out and stock one put back in. 4 months later the 3-4 took a dump. took it back they replaced the clutch packs and installed a boost valve to up the line pressure. my question is why did the 3-4 go out so soon. this failure happened when i was 800 miles away from home. thankfully it got me back home to where i could get it to the tranny shop!

That is a bit of a loaded question. Not being able to see what was done to the hydraulic circuits, the 3/4 clutches, the return springs etc... it is nearly impossible to know.
What did they say was the cause of the failure?
