Default vigelante

i recieved my vigelante converter and the therds need to be retaped because they had paint in them so did that to allow the bolts to screw on smooth, but they are still hard to screw in need help. why is this happening? can only get two to three turns in.

Which size tap did you use? I believe that they are m10x1.50. Also are you using the bolts that were supplied with the converter?

They are definitely 10 x 1.5 metric threads. You might need to use a bottom style tap to really clean up the threads. A bottom tap is not as tapped as a regular tap.

loc-tite them bicchezz too once its in the car...
