Default Need help identifying a converter

I bought a 2002 SS with a bad motor from a auction. It has no history. The engine was locked big time. Block is nearly cracked in half. To my surprise there was an aftermarket stall converter installed. It pink in color about 10" dia. It had hand stamped part number on the flex plate side. 24005G or C cant tell for sure. Engine looks bone stock, so I am puzzled on why it in there.

Thanks,

Vigilante paints their units pink. May be a Vig.
