still need A4 to M6 Swap WIRING HELP ASAP!!! I need to start the car and get the new engine broken in a bit before LS1 Edit, scheduled for thursday afternoon. The car is finished with a fresh LS1, fluids were filled tonight. ENTIRE T56 conversion is completed EXCEPT for the clutch pedal switch wiring. I'm waiting to hear back from a guy on exactly how i need to wire it up but i'm not sure if i'll hear from him soon enough. The car needs to be started today, so if anyone knows what to do please let me know. My cell # is 817.578.0688 if you would even be cool enough to call me to discuss this issue.
I notice that 2 of the wires from the 6-wire connector are the same color as the 2 wires on the clutch pedal switch. from what very little information i have, i ASSUME that i splice these wires together and my car will start... hopefully its that simple!

Re: still need A4 to M6 Swap WIRING HELP ASAP!!! hmmm. I just did this swap on mine. I just re-used the sensors and harness for the a4. I can remember to push in the clutch b4 i start the car if it's in gear.
Re: still need A4 to M6 Swap WIRING HELP ASAP!!! we already figured it out lastnight, but for anyone doing a search, since its not posted anywhere else online, heres how it goes...
the purple with white stripe wire and the green wire from the orignal auto shifter connector must be connected before the car will start...
extend them to the clutch pedal and connect them to the clutch switch...
when the clutch is fully depressed, it presses the switch, connecting the purple/white wire to the green... the car should then start..
this is for any car that was a auto, with a manual swapped in, that retained the interior automatic wiring.
