Default nitrous converter?

what stall would work best for my car on a th400 with a t-brake? i have 4.10 gears, 28" d.r.'s, 6,400 shift point on a 120 shot, about 3500 race weight, h.p.#'s in sig. I did a search but it didnt help much. thanks

On a 120 shot I would not get all that concerned.

What is important here is that your converter be matched to your cams power curve. The nitrous will only enhance that at that small of a shot.

Bottom line is this... a decent N/A hp (440 or so) car will work just fine with a 3400 - 4000 rpm converter just fine.... But that may be a little loose with nitrous.

At a 120 shot you have nothing to really concern yourself with unless you are blowing through your current cpnverter... which you did not mention..

So I suppose in order to change my opinon I need more info as to why you are concerned with your converter.

Yes.

If it is a street driven application a 3600 Vig in frt of a TH400 would be ideal.

it all depends on your cam though.... what kind of cam are you running?? the nitrous isnt going to affect the converter b/c of how little of a shot it is. what cam is in the car?
