shifter shaft on 4l80e

the 4l80e shifter shaft coming out of the 4l80e is much longer then the 4l60e how do i switch them. or can i somehow use the 80e braket or something i saw in the 60e to 80e sticky.

I think you just need the bracket from the 4l60e I also got this info by reading that writeup... If you have an older model 4l80e I think maybe 99 and down you might need a 99+ shifter linkage maybe this will help somewhat...

yes get the 60 bracket, then buy the lever with a 10mm ball on the end and any cable from a 94+ car should work fine

There's two different length selector shafts available for the 4L80E, you need the short one. If you need the part # or want to purchase the correct one for your application feel free to give Vince or myself a call at the shop.
