Automatic shifting I tried a search and it timed out.
I've always wondered if shifting an automatic 1-2-D-OD, is bad for the transmission. Are automatic transmissions built to handle this? I wondered if its just one of those things you can do, but shouldn't do often. I know when I tow with my Durango up hills it helps dropping it into D and throwing it back into OD when I get up to speed.
