4l80e harness plug question??

Default 4l80e harness plug question??

What year did they change to the new style harness plug on the 4l80e? I found a killer deal on a 1995 model 4l80e trans. and I wanted to make sure that I could still get an adapter to make it work with my 2000 4l60e harness.

I got one out of a 94 and I heard it was the same.

The harness was changed in 1994 and works to date. There was a change in the harness again in 04 but had only inturnal changes do to the pcs/epc being changed. Not an issue for the installers point of view. Hope this helps. Vince

Thats exactly what I need to know....Thanks fellas.

With that said....I can just buy the adapter harness and re-flash the pcm and be good to go? (other than getting a converter, and changing the driveshaft yoke)
