Yah thats normal for a poly mount. It is a stiffer mount and will send more vibration through the car.

I changed out my original rubber mount and installed a poly mount. Needless to say, it did not stay in there for more than 500 miles. The vibration and noise was excessive and could not live with it. I went back to the rubber mount and much better. I have ploy just about everywhere and the transmission mount was the most noticeable.

I have had an energy suspension mount in my car for like 2 years. Didn't pay attention then, but have a god awful vibration. It is there just revving the motor up in park and terrible at certain rpms in 2nd and 3rd gear. I bought a prothane one, and hope this fixes it. Just gotta get the lift clear to install it.
