I have a 95 Camaro Z28 6 speed Ragtop. I need advice on subframe connectors and a transmission mount. BMR is the only company i've seen that makes sub frame conn for ragtop. They're weld on. If I'm not hooking it up hard, do I need them? Are they hard to install? I have to hire it done. Will it reduce my ground clearance??

Trans mount - the factory LT1 mounts aren't very good. The one I broke on my hard top was replaced with a modified LS1 mount (no more problems!) I am concerned about running a prothane or energy suspension mount due to unwanted vibrations through the shifter.

Please respond if you have had experience with either of these issues.
