if i put a a4 tranny in my 68 camaro with carbed ls1 motor obviously no computer how /what can i do to make it work transmission wise? i was told the tranny shifts only with the computer or something to the effect.

 

Well either the 4L60E or the 4L80E can be converter to a full manual shift. Then obviously you'll need to manage lock-up electronically though.

One solution is an aftermarket controller... There are several manufacturers who produce stand alone controllers for electronic overdrive transmissions.
