Best converter for these applications.
I currently have a PYE-4000 which I believe was intended for big cube, big spray applications.
This is what I told Yank that I wanted the converter for, so it's my fault for the mismatch.
By mismatch I mean I am not getting to that big cube big spray combo until now.
I've been running this converter on a stock cubed H/C(229 cam .581 lift 114 ls), N2O car going thru a TH200, currently running 10.90-10.80 with 1.55 60ft's(I know it's slow but remember my elevation and our usual DA's of 3500 or higher).
1) What would've been the best applicated converter for my current setup.
2) What converter should I look at for an iron blocked 409 or 421 with very large hyd. cam, stage III LS6 heads or better, a huge hit of N2O(300-400), and using the same billet 4L60 shaft on the TH200?
Weight of the car is 3470 with me in it.
As a sidenote, I am actively considering a TH350 for strength considerations, but would like to exhaust the possibilities with my TH200.
Thanks for the help.

The best converter for your old combinatin would have been the new Yank SS 3800, but since that wasn't available at the time, the best would have been the Yank Super Thruster 3800.
With a big iron stroker motor, you really need to stay with the bigger 258mm converter like your Pro Yank. You may want to have the stall pulled down a hair for running a 300-400 shot. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
You've got the right converter now for a 400+ ci motor with a 150-200 shot. If you go to a 400 shot, you'll need it tightened down to the equivalent of a PY3600E. Not a big deal. Just a pump tweak.

Also Patrick, do you know if Yank sells a TB for their 4l70 kit?
Thanks.
