hey guys i need to know how many hp can my 4l60e tranny can handle and by the way i just installed a 24,000 b&m tranny cooler and a TCI Pro Super Transmission Overhaul Kit for GM 4L60E .

there really isnt a magic cutoff hp number
just depends on how hard you use n abuse it
more abuse = lower life span ( i.e auto x and hard launchin dragracing )

the cooler will help its life alot!!! especially if you have a stall

most transmissions are rated by torque capacity not HP.
