How many hp 4L60e handle
I'm no expert, so all who are, correct me please:
that said, I'll make a guess at it handling about 385hp at the crank as reliably as the stock transmission/engine. I'm basing that on the fact that a certain companies Stage 1 4L60E can handle about 400hp at the crank, and it has more than those two mods done to it. However, I could easily be wrong.

well I CAN tell you this....with my 4l60e it has been blown twice (3-4 clutch packs). On a dyno my car is putting out 385RWHP with a very loose Yank PT4200 TC. My trannys last on the average of 14months. And yes it was attempted to make it strong from a local tranny guy.
Im going with someone different this time.
