The only guy that I know here in my car club that has had a TCI converter had SERIOUS problems with his a few times before he got rid of it and got an SS4000. As far as I know he hasn't had any problems since. I went with yank now (it isn't installed yet) since I got to hear all of the horror stories from him... Basically it scared me away... lol

The first one was a $800 custom built Max Effort 4500. The second one they sent me was a SSF 4000. Both couldn't handle a 11 second bolton LS1.

My Yank PT 4400 has been flawless!

Yank's the best i've seen.

vigilante is a great converter, but from personal experience Yank seems to be a more efficient converter.

when it comes to automatic transmissions/converters - you get what you pay for!

my tci seems to do fine "knocks on wood"....dont know why tci got brung up any way i dont think they have a verter even close to his 350 budget.....id say find a used one...
