just got trans rebuilt not working right!!! HELP ok i just had my trans rebuilt because it lost 3rd and 4th well i got it all back in and it doesnt shift untill i take my foot off the gass and somtimes doesnt downshift what could be causing this. IM worried when i put it back in that the cable that goes from the Trottle body to the trans was put in wrong please somone help

Any time you install a 700r4 you need to make sure that the cable is adjusted correctly. This cable is what controls the transmissions line pressure, shift points, and also the downshift function of the transmission. The link that Frank provided in the above post from Bowtie overdrives is one that you should read. It gives you the correct information for properly adjusting the tv cable on your car. This is the first thing that you should address on your car. I believe that your cable is either out of adjustment or is in need of replacement. You might have an internal issue but this is the first thing to address.
