fluid question..?? dex III, dex VI?

Default fluid question..?? dex III, dex VI?

06 gto tells me to use dex VI but the torque verter i bought said to use dex III, no synthetics.

what do i do???

I would follow the converter manufactuers instructions .

I'm not a fan of synthetics in automatic transmissions. I'd use whatever the converter says

Genuine Dex VI is not specified as a synthetic. It is from the same organic stock as Dex III but with a tighter base stock specification and an improved additive package (for sheer strength, oxidation protection, shudder resistance, etc...).

Any transmission that uses Dex III can use Dex VI. In fact, Dex VI can even be mixed with Dex III. Go ahead and get the extra benefits of Dex VI.
