The 4 L60E sucks! How much to convert to a 6-Speed?

Cost me $2266 for the swap (34,000 mile trans in a 35,000 mile car, most parts bought new) and $427 for the rear gear swap.
Why did I do it? because I felt like it. Not trying to go faster, not trying to go slower, not trying to impress anyone, not trying to change the value of the car, not because there was anything wrong with the A4, in fact I just built it up right. I did it because working on cars is a hobby I like to do. And I kept every last part of the A4 set up in case I feel like swapping it back one day.
