It's only been a 1.55 on a 125 shot but the new trans, converter and some suspension should drop it some.

It won't seat in the flexplate but they make a spacer to solve the problem. I didn't run it with my old converter but PTC custom built my new nitrous one specific to my setup(including a extended pilot).

OK can someone make a list here, am thinking of doing the same thing! Here is my attempt somebody correct me if am wrong or add anything that is missing.

1. New or Used Flexplate,
2. LSx specific torque converter (which means longer pilot bearing?)
3. Any th400 or th350, If using th350 get the one with the 9 inch tailshaft so you can resuse you stock driveshaft.
4. New chassis mounted torque arm
5. New Shifter and maybe console.
6. New big tranny oil cooler
7. Some speedo and abs light removal mods

Anything else guys?

O yes you sexy devil I met you at pinks i was with Chad in the Jeep when we drove up and met you, I work at bandimere for the past 7 years and knew that car was fast. I just needed to match a face to the car

So you think there would be real no ET loss switching to a TH 400 application cause people I have be around tell me it is not worth it unless i am using a trans brake....?

When I had a Th400 in my TA, it slowed down .1-.2 tenths and lost 4-5mph in the 1/8 mile. This was launching off the foot brake. I did read somewhere on this forum that using a transbrake would gain maybe .2-.3 But I can't support that with any of my experience.
