still having issues.... so i changed my fluid and my filter in my 4l60, and it still hasn't fixed the problem...
my problem is that my tranny will make some hard 1-2 shifts and sometimes will start in 3rd gear and never downshift or up shift....
can someone tell me what the possibly wrong?

It does sound like you have some electrical issue going on , Do you have access to a scanner and or a data logger tuner? Sounds like thats the direction your going to have to go.

Does it have data capabilites can you look a comanded gear etc?

checked grounds, checked if the vss is connected, all looks alright, the 3rd gear start is still annoying me.
the ground on the driver front from the chasis to the alt looks dirty and has a tiny bit of rust...would this cause the issue?
