Default Torque Converter queston?

I have a Vig 3200 and my converter will lock on the highway then it will unlock after about 5 miles, Sometimes if I shut the car off and restart it while on the highway the converter will lock but it unlocks after a couple of miles. I auto tap it and I have no codes my tranny temp stays around 190. I have edit, is there anything I need to look at?

I would contact the Precision Industries (Vig) tech dept.
The 01-02 model cars seem to have issues with hi-stall converters.

The cam is causing misfires to be detected by the PCM. When enough are detected, it unlocks the converter. You need to have your misfire tables edited with LS1edit. I'm fighting the same problem with a Comp 216/220 .525/.532 114 cam.

It's actually part of the detection logic so it's also possible that if you looked at misfires you wouldn't see any. (The detection logic attempts to reduce the background noise by unlocking the converter, minimizing the drivetrain as a noise source.)
