Default Sticks in 2nd Gear!

My friend has an 02 WS6 that he just installed a 3500 stall and B&M shift kit in. Had mucho problems at first. Car was acting like it was slipping and would occasionally hang in 2. Further investigation shows a broken 1-2 accumulator piston and a misaligned valve body gasket. That gets straight and the car runs great. Drives it all weekend and no problems. He is coming to work today and it sticks in second again. He checked the code with his scanner and show 2-3 shift solenoid. Same code that it had shown when the other problems were present. Any suggestions?

I dont think you have and issue with the shift kit or solenoid , PO757 is a comon code set after a high stall coverter install. Basically the PCM becomes confused over the Stall RPM and does not think the shift to third gear happened. So it sets that code, He will need to have the test for that code removed from the PCM though tuning to correct the problem.

Thank you! I've been doing the tuning for him with the understanding that it is a learning experience. So if I take off the error code, it will quit hanging in second?

Thank you very much! It may have been 3rd, the revs just seemed high. Thanks again!
