You've just chosen the two best all around converters on the market IMO. Can't go wrong with either. Both stall around 3800.

So the SS is the Yank brand of converters? Im in the same boat. I am minimal mod, lid, exhaust, FTRA, free mods, etc. Probably be 150 shot in near future.

I see alot of guys playin converter swap like musical chairs. I want a converter and want to stay with it for a while. I would be happy with low 1.6 60's on BFG's if possible.

I have a stock SS and I'm getting my Yank SS3800 installed tomorrow. I plan to do headers (just bought a set of the new Jet Hot's) and the new NX NXL direct port nitrous kit.

Ok, Ok, Ok!

Have to take it easy the first 150 miles or so. Also weather is bad in this area. Still snow and ice on the ground, so any real performance tests will be out. But would be happy to comment on the street manners.

I say get a Vig 3200. You don`t want to go to big with a Vert when you going to spray. You can see what I have in my Sig. I love it!! My motor starts making power just right for the Vig 3200. When I spray it flashs like a 3800, maybe 4000. She hooks like a mother on motor, when I spray I toast my 315 Nitto`s on back. With some M/T I should trully pull the wheels and have good 60` times. MTI put everything in at once and they like the way the Vig goes with this set-up! If you not going to spray go alittle bigger. But I love my Vig 3200, sweet!! O`yea she runs good too!!!

travis is tosto's friend and has a 99 white WS6. it was pretty fast. ran 12.0s on bolt ons only and 11.teens on the bottle. he tore down the motor and is looking to run 10.9 on motor now. tosto has gone 10.9 on the bottle and stock internals!
