Default Park?

Should the wheels move while the car is in park? I have a new tranny and have tried all of the selections and it moves in everyone. Now i have not put fluid in it but i dont think that would change anything. What do you guys think?

Park is a purley mechanical function , Check linkage and without linkage hooked rotate the shifter peice on trans fully clock wise and then try to turn drive shaft. Should turn a short distance the stop.

Forget what the wheels are doing. You need to look at the drive shaft. If the drive shaft still turns in park then you have an issue. The wheels depending on what type of rear end or condition, might still turn but in opposite directions.
