Default Hose from Trans to Torque Arm on 4L60E?

I was removing the stock torque arm and pulled it out when i noticed a hose attched to it and a fitting that appears to have come from the trans. What is this for? I am guessing its a breather tube for the trans fluid. Also where is the general location of where i goes on the trans? I reached my hand up on top of the trans as much as i could but could not find a hole for it. Thanks for any Help.

It *IS* a breather / overflow hose. There *is* a fitting on top of the tranny - good luck on getting it back in if the tranny is in the car. I suspect you will have to drop the crossmember
and lower the back of the tranny (or leave it off.
Plenty of trannys have the vent but no hose)
