wth is goin on?
wth is goin on? when i beat on the car it seems to slip whe goin into 2nd gear..the rpm's will remain around 5500 untill the car hits about 55-60...and its having trouble going into 3rd..its been bouncing off rev limiter a few times then goin in...The car used to have a 3500 stall in it..could the stalll have messed up the tranny? Also i have a hypertech programmer and have the shift points set to +1mph on 2nd shift, -2mph on 3rd shift (cause it hasnt been shifting) and +1 on the 4th shift..It does have different size wheels (see sig)..what do you think the problem could be? Im prayin its not the tranny...
Well assuming you have reinstalled the stock converter. First I would put the tune back to stock and then see what happens from there.
If it still does that pull the pan and inspect whats in it and make a determination from there if you need a trans or not, With the tuning changes and the previous 3500 stall and changes that may have been does to the tune for it This would be the best first move.
