Default TH 350 vs 4L60E.

I'm contemplating making this swap in the near future before my stock tranny gives up. What is gearing in each tranny?? I was wanting to throw some 28's on my car, so I'm not so sure it would be all that bad not having OD....is it?

Any other tid bits of info would be appreciated.

What does a used 4L60E usually bring..along with a Yank converter??

Thanks
Scott

What is bad without OD is opinionated. Just go out and drive around in D for a little while. That'll tell you.

Your first gear is 3.06 in a 4L60-E. It's 2.52 stock in a TH350 but you can get a 2.75 set if you want to spend the extra $$$.
