Default I have a tranny ?

Let me start by saying that I did look in the stickys for the answer to my ?
But I didnt see it.
My ? is what is the normal orperating temp for a stalled 4l60e.
At what temp is the tranny to hot if you had a gauge hooked to it? Besides when its in the red.
Does the normal temp range change when a tranny cooler is hooked to it.
Lookin for some input thanks.

ok normal temp varies from car to car. As long as you stay under lets say 200 to 220 your fine. coolers better. I like 160 to 180 and yes a cooler will drop the average temp .

So the tranny needs to stay around 200 degrees.
Operating temps with a tranny cooler is around 160 to 180 degrees.
Now this doesnt matter if its a A4 or M6 right?
