Default Help me Please

WHen I run my car up on the stall (3600rpm) the trans will lose first gear after the run. When I turn the car off and restart it has first gear. The trans is a 4l60e and the car is a 1999 TA.

You are likley setting a code PO757 with is for shift solenoid B syuck on , However this is and eronious code caused by your stall you need to goto a tuner and have the test for this code removed and your problem should be solved.

Is this still the case if the car is not producing a code of any kind. The car was at Livernois Motorsports and I was able to get the car to do this and there was no code in the pcm.

Could be I have heard of it happeing without a code present, I would go ahead and have the code test removed and then see what happens the fact that it returns to normal after and ignotion cycle tells you its setting limp mode.
