For those of you that have removed your ac, has anybody ever thought of using the big cooler in front of the radiator (cant think of its correct name) for a mega tranny cooler. They say heat kills trannies and I figure that thing outta be able to keep a tranny quite cool and even increase capacity a bit. Any of you guys have any opinions on this or know of somebody who has tried it?

 

The condensor? It would take some engineering to pull off.. but would be one hell of a cooler.. probably work too good.

 

Yeah that the name of it, suffering from a brain fart I guess. Was kinda toying with the idea and was thinking it would have to work good, but just didnt know if I was twisted for thinking of such a thing lol.

Like JB said it would be too much cooling and likely to have high line resistence.

 

Tranny cooler in front of the radiator? Thats where mine is mounted. Or did I read this wrong?
