Default 2001 Caprice 4l60e
Will this transmission work in a '99 z28 or have any issue with the computer plug in or the torque converter hub length?

A 2001 caprice does not have a 4l60e in it , its a front wheel drive car. The trans will not work at all totally different animal.

If I am not mistaken , there was not a Caprice made in 2001!!!!!!!!

No there wasnt only the impala but since some call it one and the other. In anycase it wont work.
