Time for a tighter converter
Sometimes it is hard to have the best of both worlds. Indeed that converter is way too much for the N2O. As far as the idle condition with a 3500 stall converter.. I would think that condition could be tuned. But hey, maybe it can't. A 3500 rpm converter is fairly loose to begine with, especially when we are talking about idle quality. A nitrous converter is going to naturally be on the tight side of course, but I would be surprised to see your engine slaving at idle with it.
Good Luck with it.

I have an Art Carr 3600/3800 that is too tight IMO. it is built for 700+rwhp and a 250 shot of nitrous...
It does 1.70 60fts on motor
1.48 60fts on the bottle
It stalls to 3200 on the footbrake. A transbrake is a good cure for a tight converter.
Mine has 600-800 street/track miles on it. I will sell for $450.00! I want to buy a Neil Chance for $1k+........ pm me!
