flex plate?

Default flex plate?

i have a a4 ls1 and will be puttin in a 3500 tci and was wonderin should i buy a flex plat or corvette cervos.i know i need a trany cooler but r those parts needed?

It is highly possible that your car is equipped with a Covette Servo.

I would not think that at your power level an aftermarket sfi rated flexplate would be necessary. But, it might be an upgrade you might want to consider though, won't hurt a thing!

i got one because i heard that alot of people find the stock one cracked when they chage the convertor. i didnt want to get it all apart and find out on a saturday or sunday that i couldnt put it back together right away.

stock flexplates have a tendency to crack... i would pick up a TCI unit - but you will not be able to run the standard sized converter bolts. i believe you'll need an M12 x 1.5 x 20mm "10.9" (hardened).

and yes, i would run a tranny cooler with an aftermarket converter. B&M 24k is a nice unit.

Speedinc usually stocks both of these items, and they have free shipping.
