You can see in my Sig my numbers. MTI put my set-up together and had Century rebuild my tranny. I push 600rwhp with spray and she is running fine. I got the 550rwhp on 900psi on the bottle. With 1050psi I`m really getting close to 600rwhp. For street use you want to stay with the 4l60E, but if it`s a track car go with 350 or 400. Just both need to be built right. I love my overdrive! Still get 21-23 mpg with it.

Speed Inc 4L60E has gone 10s in more than one car that I know of. I helped set up a friends LS1 car that went 10.7s @130 with the Speed Inc unit for 25 track passes plus TONS of WOT street driving. He had a Procharger setup plus some other stuff. His motor blew before the trans did

FLP also has a great rep....

Oz if you get a TH400 you'll have to get a new converter as the 4L60E and TH400 converters do not swap out. I'm putting a built TH-400 in my S-10 this weekend fyi. TH400 does not have overdrive, and I'm sure you won't like the non-lock up converters since your used to your 4L60E. 200R4 you'll have to get another converter too. Art Carr had a killer deal on their 700rwhp 200R4 with billet converter $1899 for both, and thats a $800-900 converter.

I'm going with a FLF level IV....I plan on making a 600-700 ft/lbs...not going to be at the drag strip too much though.

We think we've abused the 4L60E more than is legally allowed. If there's another car that punishes a 4L60E more than a 4500lb, 1000 horsepower, 1100lb/ft Impala SS, we'd love to see it. Anybody interested in seeing a dyno video of that Impala laying down 735rwhp/798rwtq? And that's the old setup...

The 4L60E is stronger than most people give it credit for. What most people misunderstand though is that how it's built is more important than the parts that are used inside. Almost everybody uses the same type of parts, it's all about the build. Compare it to an engine: JE pistons, Oliver rods, and a Callies Billet crank will still break in a second if your neighbor that's never built an engine in his life assembles the thing.
