I'm going to be looking for a converter as soon as the student loan check comes ( <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) and I'm not sure if I can afford a new one. Is it ok to buy a used one? Is there anything specific I should look for or worry about? Which ones usually have the best reliabilty? How many miles is too many for a converter?
A low mileage used converter is fine. I'd buy from people you know or trust.
I would not a buy a used converter coming from a car that has had tranny trouble.

If you want a second opinion I agree %100 with Ragtop.
