Does anybody make a handheld device that will let you adjust shift points,rev limiters ect. without messing with the engine parameters? Or is that why aftermarket Tranny controllers are so popular? I've got a 98Z28 with the 4L60E.

 

HPP3 will do the rev limiter and WOT shift points. They used to be pretty inexpensive compared with tuning software. Tuning software will allow you change part throttle shift points and lock-up, which makes a huge improvement in drivability for a daily driver with a cam and stall.
